It Can Cause Discharge With no Redness
Again, it is not necessary to have redness of the eyes for it to be pink eye. Another common symptom is pus that is either green or yellow in colour. This pus can lead to crusting over of the eyelashes and is more common with bacterial pinkeye. Medicated drops usually relieve symptoms within a few days. Sometimes, patients who are prescribed these drops will cease their use once their symptoms disappear. However, this is not recommended. Whenever prescribed any medication it is best to continue taking it as recommended by your doctor.
