Keep your Animals in Sight
Animals of course like to roam, and many people who have the luxury of having large properties often let their animals go where they please. Others also have outdoor cats. However, this is potentially dangerous. This risk is increased if you live in an area that has had a rabies threat. Do yourself a favour and keep your animals inside or under your watch when you do let them roam. This will greatly decrease the chance that they will contract rabies from an infected animal.
