This 1-Minute Cartoon Teaching Infant CPR Should Be Shared With Every Parent You Know

If your baby stopped breathing, would you know how to do infant Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)? The frightening reality is that only about a quarter of parents would. This is why the United Kingdom charity, St. John Ambulance, produced this simple how to musical video.

The video, using characters such as Humpty Dumpty and Jack and Jill, along with a catchy tune about performing CPR, shows us how to save babies lives, should we ever need to.

The first step is to call an ambulance. From there the video instructs you to place the baby on a flat surface and tilt their head back, then give 5 puffs over their mouth and nose. Place two fingers on the chest and pump 30 times. You are to keep repeating this until help arrives.

To know how to do CPR, you simply follow the stages in the tune.
