Typical Symptoms
Although adults and children may experience the flu differently, there are actually a lot more similarities than differences. More specifically both will likely experience (at least some of) the following symptoms: a sudden fever, chills and shakes, headache, muscle aches, sometimes vomiting and diarrhea, stuffy nose, and a dry cough. Each person is unique and will experience these symptoms differently and they may not experience all of them; however, it has been found that most children with the flu will experience at least three of the above symptoms. These symptoms usually do not present themselves until at least 48 hours after the flu has been contracted. Therefore, it is impossible to know where the flu was transferred and from whom.
