10 Ways to Keep your Family and Pets Safe from Rabies

Mind your Trash

Most of us have been unfortunate enough to find garbage strewn all over our lawn. Not only is this annoying but it is potentially dangerous since it is an indicator that animals that can be infected with rabies and/or other diseases are being able to access your trash. There are several ways to keep your trash out of the hands of animals. First off, always place your trash in plastic bags that are put inside in bins. Don’t just leave plastic bags out. Secondly, make sure to use bins that are sealed with a clamping device, or at least some sort of heavy object on top.
